I am still alive

Oh wow! Ady updates her blog! :) (Read the sarcarsm!)

It's been forever, I know. You see, my life is pretty much the same. I work, I hit the gym and am happily together with Jack. BUT! things changed on 10 October 2012.

He popped the question! Of course I said YES! Thankfully, the proposal was a very personal one, which both of us will fondly remember for the rest of our life.

Seriously, that is The Event of The Year 2012 :)

We have chosen the date, our venue, bridal studio and solemniser. It seems like we have settled the more important things. Now, we just need to look forward to The Day and enjoy the process!

Little Part 1 Cafe

(This is sooo overdue! We visited this cafe on 15 April 2012!)

And here we are... we finally visit Little Part 1 Cafe. A couple of friends recommended me this place because it has a homely atmosphere. I agreed.

Too cute to reject!

There was a bookshelf right beside our table and this travel guide caught my attention.

Simple yet elegant

Appetizer:
Assorted Buffalo wings
Mini chicken debrinzers

I wouldn't go back for the buffalo wings. It is not spicy and too oily. Same goes for the chicken debrinzers. If you really want to try it, make sure you ask for plenty of water.

Main:
Fish and Chips

If you cannot whip out a simple Fish and Chips, I cannot imagine how other food will be taste like. Plenty of room for improvement.

Beverage:
Coffee (for Him)
Hitachino Craft Beer (for Me)

Having said that, I love the ambience. I think this place is perfect for a catch-up session with a cup of tea/coffee and dessert, or with your book :)

Chio Nails

I finally did my nails!

I wanted to do it since Chinese New Year. I thought I would go for the blink-blink design but guess what, I went for the Twin Stars design.

I know I know... I am a little too old to go for such design but there are starsss! That is TOO CUTE! I LOVE STARS!

If you are interested, I did it at Daisy (Far East Plaza, #04-99B, Tel: 8454 8523)

I thinkkk I may go back for another design in a couple of month's time, umm, if the shop is still there!

Love Day

A day to celebrate the love for each other & for food! :)

BB was very sweet to bring me for ice-cream dessert after gym. Sound silly to stuff myself with sugar after that right? But who cares!

It was a long wait in Ice Cube Cafe at Serangoon Gardens but we were fine with it. We sat there and observed how the staffs coordinated the orders and how patient they were :) Oh well, what bored people do...
